Weight Loss Tips -1
Starving your body can actually make you gain weight. When people are underfed, the metabolism slows which causes fat changes that adversely affect metabolism over time.
You can try to lose weight by not eating. There are two ways this can happen. One is for it to be done inadvertently—like when you just get busy or forget to eat. Two – people deprive their bodies of food, thinking that this will help them lose weight.
What’s really going to happen when you do this? Regardless of how it happens, either scenario in this case is equally damaging. Your metabolism will slow down as a result of decreased intake and this will lead to some long-term weight gain. People often struggle to keep the initial weight off because they become focused on hunger cues from their bodies as opposed to internal feelings fullness.
What this means is that, after the starving is over, your body will hold onto the next meal you eat for dear life, expecting to be starved again.
Skipping breakfast and other meals leads to starvation and ultimately to weight gain.
With a healthy metabolism you will be able to lose weight. Start by keeping your meals no more than 4 hours apart to keep those hunger cravings from being an issue.
